The Wise Parrot
00:00 / 04:50

The sun was rising over the thick forest. Birds were chirping happily as the animals began their day. In a quiet spot near a small village, a parrot named Mithu was talking with his friends.

"Did you see the colorful flowers near the river?" asked Chintu the squirrel, his bushy tail flicking with excitement.

"Yes, and they smell so sweet!" replied Gita the rabbit, her nose twitching happily.

Mithu was known for his wisdom. He wasn't the biggest or the strongest, but he was always the smartest. Today, though, Mithu had a worried look on his face.

"I heard something troubling this morning," Mithu said, his feathers ruffling with concern. "There’s a hunter in the forest."

Chintu's eyes widened. "A hunter? But we’ve always been safe here!"

"Yes," Mithu said. "But this hunter is very clever and has set traps all over the place."

Gita hopped closer. "What should we do?"

Mithu thought for a moment. "We need to warn the others and come up with a plan to keep everyone safe."

As Mithu flew from tree to tree, he gathered all the animals in a secret meeting spot. The fox, the deer, the monkey—all the animals listened closely.

"The hunter has set traps and is looking for us," Mithu explained. "We need to be smart and stay hidden."

The animals nodded in agreement. The forest buzzed with whispers as they discussed their safety. Mithu’s plan was simple: each animal would go to a safe spot, and Mithu would use his flying skills to keep watch.

As Mithu flew high above, he spotted the hunter moving stealthily through the forest. The hunter was dressed in brown clothes and carried a net. He was sneaking around, trying to catch any animal that crossed his path.

Mithu quickly flew back to the meeting spot. "The hunter is getting closer," he warned. "Everyone must hide now!"

Chintu scampered up a tree, Gita hopped into a burrow, and the others found their safe spots. Mithu perched on a high branch, watching the hunter carefully.

But the hunter was clever. He noticed Mithu’s bright feathers and aimed his net at the parrot. Mithu saw the net coming and darted away just in time.

The hunter was now determined to catch Mithu. He followed the parrot, thinking that if he caught the wise parrot, the other animals would be easy to catch.

Mithu flew faster, leading the hunter on a wild chase through the forest. He flew in and out of trees, around rocks, and even through a small stream. The hunter was getting frustrated. He couldn’t catch Mithu and was getting tired.

Finally, Mithu had an idea. He flew to a big, open field where the hunter could see him clearly. He landed on a rock and pretended to be caught. The hunter was overjoyed and moved quickly to catch Mithu in his net.

But just as the hunter was about to throw the net, Mithu made a loud squawking noise. The animals, hidden all around the field, sprang into action. The monkey swung from tree to tree, the deer ran circles around the hunter, and the fox dashed through the grass.

The hunter was confused and scared. The forest seemed to come alive with animals everywhere. He stumbled and tripped over his own net, falling to the ground. Mithu took this chance to fly up high and watch from above.

The hunter got up and, seeing he was outnumbered and outsmarted, decided to leave the forest. He picked up his traps and walked away, grumbling to himself.

As soon as the hunter was gone, the animals cheered. Mithu flew down to join them, his feathers shining with pride.

"You did it, Mithu!" Chintu said, bouncing up and down.

"Thanks to you, we are all safe!" Gita added, giving Mithu a big hug.

Mithu smiled and fluffed his feathers. "It was a team effort. We all worked together to keep our home safe."

The animals celebrated with a big feast of fruits and nuts, and Mithu enjoyed every bit of the party. The forest was peaceful again, and the animals knew they had a wise parrot to thank for their safety.

From that day on, Mithu was known not only for his wisdom but also for his bravery. And whenever a new challenge arose, the animals knew they could count on their clever friend to save the day.

And so, the forest remained a safe and joyful place, all thanks to the wise parrot who used his brains to keep his friends out of danger.
